The Children's Museum of the East End offers a great mix of outdoor and indoor activities, as well as a busy schedule of kid-friendly events all summer long. One of their biggest events of the year is the Family Fair to Benefit CMEE, an outdoor festival designed with families in mind, which takes place on July 19, 2025. Kids love their Summer Kids Club camps, including Summer Kids Club Jr., which is tailored to toddlers. There are also fun activities here for adults, including the annual Women's Doubles Tennis Tournament on July 27, as well as the popular Summer 2025 Ladies Night, which takes place on August 6. -

Kids and adults alike love visiting The Adventure Park at Long Island, which features thrilling zip line experiences for all ages, exciting outdoor play structures for kids, and amazing views of Long Island's natural scenery. One especially cool summer event here is Glow in the Park, where the whole Adventure Park is lit up with dazzling LED lights on Saturday evenings, with music playing while you enjoy your adventure. -

Harbes Family Farm offers a variety of fun outdoor activities every weekend, including animal activities, pig races, musical hayride tours, play structures, inflatables, outdoor sports, and so much more. On Fridays all summer long, you can enjoy Summer Fun Fridays, where all of the activities usually available only on Saturday and Sunday are open one day early, with a discount on tickets as well. -
